The Israel occupation regime has recently officiated the opening of an underground tunnel, which runs from Jerusalem’s village of Silwan to the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Referred to as the ‘Road of Pilgrims’, the excavated road is built by Israel as part of the City of David plan.
The inauguration was held in the presence of US diplomats, which further sparked the controversy since Trump recognised Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in December 2017.
The Israeli excavation is clearly a blatant violation of the international recognition of the Palestinians’ rightful possession of the land.
In no uncertain terms the activists condemn this illegal move. However, beyond donation and condemnation, what do you think we and our Muslim leaders should do with the Palestinian rights and plight?
