Hajj: it has been their lifetime’s dream. The breadwinners went through hard times; they have to ration their expenses so they could save enough money to go for Hajj.
Now that they are there, the Hujaj are seeking the path of returning home to Allah.
Previously back home, they might be a major sinner. Trapped in corruption and evil surroundings. Drowned in a worldly purpose and forgetting what Allah wants them to do and to be.
Let their repentance during Hajj be a lifetime’s, not a periodical or temporary one. The Muslim Leaders cannot stop at facilitating the Hajj. The Daies cannot stop at teaching about the Manasik of Hajj.
Eid al-Adha isn’t just another celebration, another trip to Mecca, and another annual sacrifice of Qurban.
They have to work together, so that the Hujaj, upon returning home, is an Ummah-oriented Muslim. So that they would revamp their life, retain their fealty, and revive the sovereignty of Allah to the world.
The journey has just begun.
